
The Digital and Financial Literacy (DFL) Training (Activity 2) and MSME Capacity Enhancement (Activity 3) for Women-Owned/Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (W/MSMEs) of the MSME Finance Project are designed to increase lending by formal financial service providers (FSPs) to MSMEs owned by women or men in the target provinces of Riau Islands, Riau, South Sumatera, Bali, and North Sumatera. It is one of three projects under the 5-year Compact II Program funded by the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).
The Implementation Support Consultant (ISC) for this project is led by Trippcons, in association with the Indonesian Businesswomen Association / Ikatan Wanita Pengusaha Indonesia (IWAPI), Women in Logistic and Transport (WILAT), Asia Council for Small Business (ACSB), and Tangan Di Atas (TDA). During the Base Period from March 1 to November 30, 2024, ISC will focus on 7 key tasks geared toward the finalization of the design of DFL training and MSME capacity enhancement (TCE) for W/MSMEs:
- Inception Report and Workplan
- Synthesis and Evaluation of International and Indonesian Experience
- Program Operations Manual
- Call for Proposals for the Selection of MSP Design
- Coordinating Strategy to Integrate Services Provisions
- Awareness-Raising Campaign and Approach for Educating Women on the Benefits of Business Tax Registration
- Development of an MSME Beneficiary Information System
