ISAI is under Integrated Participatory Development and Management of Irrigation Program (IPDMIP), and aims to assist the DGRD, MOHA and Provincial and District BAPPEDA in supporting the implementation of (i) sustainable systems and irrigation capacity of agricultural institutions, and (ii) enhancing the implementation of irrigation operations and maintenance, including increasing human resource capacity, coordinating among program stakeholders.

The task of Consultant includes assisting the NPIU-DG of Regional Development and Provincial and Regency Bappeda in supporting the implementation of (i) strengthening the sustainable agricultural irrigation system and institutional capacity, and (ii) improving the implementation of irrigation operations and maintenance, including capacity building of human resources, coordination between stakeholder program interests. Strengthening the sustainable system and capacity of Agricultural Irrigation Institutions is directed at increasing the institutional capacity of local governments by supporting program implementation by carrying out comprehensive supervision and strengthening planning, implementation and monitoring & evaluation. What is meant by improving the implementation of irrigation operations and maintenance is the preparation of economic, social, technical, climate change and irrigation management institutional assessments (PSETK).
