
EUICF is a 3-year project financed by the EU, from December 2022 to December 2025. It is led by IBF Consulting with members of its consortium including Trippcons and ID COMM.
The overall objective of EUICF is to enhance the EU-Indonesia partnership through several outcomes:
- Continue and reinforce EU-Indonesia relations and policy dialogues.
- Promote an increased alignment between EU-Indonesia interests, principles, policies, and values, including human rights and gender equality, with a particular focus on the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs.
- Build increased public awareness, understanding and approval of the EU and its role in Indonesia, the region and the world.
- Enhance climate, biodiversity and environmental management, mainstreaming and monitoring, as well as conservation, sustainable, management use and restoration of natural resources.
Partners and stakeholders include:
- EU institutions including the EEAS, European Commission services, EU sectoral agencies where appropriate.
- EU Member States and their relevant institutions.
- Indonesian Ministries and national government agencies.
- EU and Indonesian civil society, academia, institutions, agencies, private sector, national and local governments and other actors will be associated when appropriate and relevant.
- For strategic communication and public diplomacy activities, the target groups will include “next generations” (e.g. young people, students, academics), political and decision makers, multipliers (e.g. media, influencers), as well as other relevant stakeholders.
