
The EU-Brunei Partnership Facility is the project financed by the European Commission with duration of 2 years implementation, from December 2022 to November 2024. The project is the first and the newest TRIPPCONS Regional Project, which fully implement in Brunei Darussalam.
The overall objective of EU – Brunei Darussalam Partnership Facility is to strengthen the European Union – Brunei Darussalam Relationship, with the specific objectives to strengthen the mutual awareness, understanding, and appreciation between partners across a range of policies, by increasing bilateral contacts in official dialogues, in second-track and professional cooperation, and at a people to people level, and through supplementary media outreach.
Target audience of this new EU-funded facility as follow:
- Policymakers: government policymakers, politicians and governmental counterparts at the appropriate hierarchical level.
- Policy influencers and opinion shapers: influential groups, organizations and individuals that are able to shape both the public opinion, include religious leaders, academia, policy analysts, business organizations.
- Youth, students: (educated) youth and youth organizations, universities and students.
- Multipliers: media – print, audio-visual and online (especially social) media, cultural organizations and operators.
- General public:
The task of the Consultant, including a) Implement policy dialogue and public diplomacy events and campaigns; and b)Establish local partnership for EU to continue nurturing the development of its relation with Brunei, with the target output as follow:
- Output 1: Increased contact at universities/students level through the organization of Ambassador Lectures and scholarship/research promotion
- Output 2: Increased Bilateral Contacts through the organization of Policy Outreach and Exchange Seminars
- Output 3: Increased awareness about EU scholarship program and research opportunity through the organization of two webinars promoting Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe programs.
- Output 4: Increased Campaign for Beach/River Clean-up to build the awareness and the understanding about the importance to protect the ocean and river.
- Output 5: Increased exposure to EU roles through the visit to European Union by 5 journalists
- Output 6: Increased public contact through Media Outreach
- Output 7: Increased public contact through organizing European Union Cultural Event
